Happy Samhain ✨🎃( #Halloween #AmWriting #Pagan #Wiccan #Samhain )

gothic-1346902_1280Samhain, the most magical time of the year when the veil between the spirit and physical world is at its thinnest!

Most know it as Halloween, but Pagans know it as the Sabbat where ancestors before us are to be honored. Wiccans know it as The Witches New Year and since my novel, Winter’s Curse, is awash in Wiccan faith and spirituality, my characters celebrate this Sabbat as such. And oh the good times they have. 🙂

I absolutely love Halloween. Today I’m dressed in an orange and beige striped top, and my witchy cauldron leggings. I have my front steps flanked with four pots of yellow, purple, and orange mums, and I can’t wait to see all of the trick-or-treaters later! I’m always impressed by the creativity they show through their costumes and face makeup. Halloween is such a fun holiday, is it not? I hope you have your front lights on tonight!

Whether you celebrate this holiday as Samhain or Halloween, may it be filled with black cats, jack-o-lanterns, mums, crisp autumn leaves, and trick-or-treaters  galore!

Also, did you check out the character interview conducted by Author Kendra L Saunders of Winter Rose-Thorne from my debut novel, Winter’s Curse? Winter discusses using magic! Please check it out, here!

And, Winter’s Curse went live on Amazon! Grab your Kindle or Paperback copy today! And here’s a special request to the Wiccans and Pagans out there: I would truly love it if you read my book and told me how I did, as far as keeping true to the Wiccan faith. While a lot of it is light and fluffy, (broomstick flying, etc), I tried my best to honor the religion. Did I get it right?  I truly would appreciate your feedback!

Before the light is reborn within the womb of darkness and the Sun returns, will Winter reverse the curse?

When High Priestess Iris Rose-Thorne bets her granddaughter’s womb in a broom flying contest – and loses, Winter wonders where the real danger lies: from the Witch Hunters she fled from the far North or her shady grandmother.

She finds safety with Turmeric of the Wormwood clan. His eagerness to protect her warms her frozen heart. But her love for him defies the Segregation Curse of Old, cast by the Elders to preserve ancient clan bloodlines.

Can they find a way around the Segregation Curse of Old to be together?

And with time running out as the Winter Solstice nears, will Winter be able to reverse the curse on her womb? Or will she agree to her fate and remain barren?

Praise for Winter’s Curse
